Dear Fellow Midlothian
Citizens:
Thank you for your
confidence in me and taking the time out of your lives to vote. I believe we
have a lot of work to do to reduce the city’s debt from it’s current 60%.
I feel that together we can survive the current economic storm and come out the
other side in better shape than we went in. It will take a lot of work and
I will need your suggestions and ideas; so please feel free to continue to
email me.
To everyone who
believed that we can make a difference and our small town values are worth fighting
for – Thank You!
God bless,
Hank K. “Doc” Miller

ENDORSEMENT
As a citizen of Midlothian, I am fully
endorsing Ken Chambers
for the Place 3 position on the Midlothian City Council. I have seen first hand
the depth of Ken Chambers’ dedication to protecting the interests of all
taxpaying Midlothian citizens. When the city proposed renting/leasing 35
computers for $40,000.00, Ken and I voted against this outrageous expense. Ken
led the charge against paying $1,000.00 for a non-voting membership to the Best
Southwest organization, whose goal is the betterment of Dallas County, not
Ellis. Yes, all the other Council members voted for this giveaway, but Ken
Chambers and I did not. Ken and I voted against the creation of additional
multiple levels of zoning, which the city would require of businesses, in order
to reduce excess governmental controls and to help stimulate business. How can
Midlothian state it is business friendly, yet require businesses to jump through
excess hoops just for the right to do business here? His concerns for the
current economic issues cross all parts of our community. I could go on and on,
but let me instead say that with Ken Chambers what you see is what you get – an
honest, caring person who treats people the way he wants to be treated. Join me
in voting for Ken Chambers to keep working for us.
Additionally, I fully endorse
Duff Hale, an exceptional
candidate, for councilman Place 4 on the Midlothian City Council. Duff is a
great man who will work for the benefit of the citizens of Midlothian. His
conservative views on property rights, liberty, and his dedication to American
values have been shown again and again in his many editorials published in the
local papers over the years. Neither Duff nor I believe we need mass transit in
Midlothian, but that is exactly what Duff’s opponent wants for our town. At
least that is what he said during the “Meet the Candidates Night” this week.
How much more of a financial burden would that add to each taxpayer in
Midlothian? Duff will bring responsibility, loyalty and dedication to the
council position. I urge you to vote for Duff Hale.
Each of these exceptional men will work for
the betterment of Midlothian. Your vote does count, please use it wisely.
God Bless,
Dr. Hank Miller
